The following comments are related to the status of intellectual property matters pending. In the past, ACECO has valued such intellectual property at the cost of developing or acquiring it.

Please note also that ACECO has been awarded Registered Trademarks 2934686 and 2969769 for its SAFLIFT (R) stylized logo and word mark, and, in April 2006, Registered Trademarks for the stylized logo (No. 78493906) and word mark (No. 78493873) for SAFWATCH.

A patent application has been filed for the SAFWATCH application, but the Patent & Trademark Office has not yet issued a First Office Action.

ACECO also caused to be filed a patent application (Serial No. 11/064,870) for an “Emergency Brake for Hoist Systems.” If granted, the patent would be issued in the names of two engineers for Munck Cranes A/S of Bergen, Norway. ACECO has the exclusive right to manufacture and market that emergency brake in the United States. The Patent & Trademark Office has not yet issued a First Office Action.
